Questions we're often asked

Which BREEAM schemes do you work on?

New Construction, including the Residential scheme for new homes, and Refurbishment and Fit-out.

Does it matter when you're appointed?

Yes. Some credits are only available if the ecologist is appointed early, before the concept design is finalised.

Do I need BREEAM for a private home?

Rarely. BREEAM is usually voluntary, or required by a local plan policy for larger schemes. A one-off private home seldom needs it, but we'll check your council's policy for you.
